Parking Sensors

Front Facing Systems activate with the ignition, deactivates at 10 mph and reactivates at 6 mph.

Rear Facing Systems activate with the reverse lights.

Each system gives audible and visual indications of distance.
The two systems are completely independent of each other and have their own display unit.

 Product Features
Danger Zone: 0" to 20"
Once within the "Danger Zone", your vehicle is dangerously close to making contact with an object that has been detected.  The display unit beeping will continue to increase in speed until it emits a solid tone. At this point, all indicator lights will illuminate to let you know what side of the vehicle it is on.
Safety Zone: 45" to 98"
When an object is detected within the "Safety Zone" it is between 45" and 98" away.  The display unit will start a slow beeping and the green indicator lights will illuminate to let you know what side of the vehicle it is on.  As you approach the object, the beep rate will increase.
Caution Zone: 21" to 44"
When an object is detected within the "Caution Zone" it is between 21" and 44" away.  The beeping from the display unit will be faster and the yellow indicator lights will illuminate to let you know what side of the vehicle it is on.  As you approach the object, the beep rate will continue to increase.

Paintable Sensors
Your paint professional can make the sensors match your vehicle. Metallic paints can cause false alarms. See note...
Ultrasonic Detection
Advanced ultrasonic technology alerts you to unseen objects and even lets you know which side of the vehicle it's on.

The cost of a parking aid is often less than the insurance deductible incurred in an accident.

When painting of the sensors to match the vehicle's exterior is desired, it is highly recommended that a paint be used without any sort of metal flake mixed in as this type of paint can cause a false alarm situation when the vehicle is in reverse.
